This volunteer effort is aimed at direct collection of roadside trash and litter. We generally conduct these efforts for no more than ONE HOUR on Saturday mornings but other dates and times can be arranged.

Don't want to pick up trash but have creative energy that can be brought to bear? You can further our cause by developing best practices for litter prevention and sharing that on-line and through social media. You can also help recruit other community organizations to join in. For instance, school, church or scout groups. Also, groups like Kiwanis, Rotary, Lions Club and similar.
We would like to put our Flash Trash teams out of business! With greater enforcement and compliance to existing anti-litter laws, there would be less trash being created. We need the help of the public but also highway patrol and County Sheriff's to look for violators. Fines and penalties could be redeployed to directly fund DOT or volunteer efforts.
